Valterra Slide Valves are made of high-quality PVC and are available in 1.5≤, 2≤, 3≤, 4≤, and 110mm pressure and 110mm sizes. Furthermore, they were designed to last, are quite resilient, and are well worth the extra cost. These are intended to fit pvc pressure pipe but can be modified to fit waste pipe by using the reducing sleeves shown in this section. Slide Valves are commonly used in filters for on/off waste valves, as well as to separate the filter from the pond and completely stop off flow when necessary. It is solvent weldable and will fit any 1.5 inch or 2 inch imperial pressure pipe. Reducer sleeves can be pasted into the socket unions to use these flapper valves with normal Black Solvent Waste Pipe.
