According to EEC Directive 98/83/CE, Impermax is a single-component, high-performance waterproofing compound that is based on polyurethane and can come into direct contact with drinking water intended for human consumption. It may be applied with ease to a variety of surfaces utilised in hydraulic infrastructures, including reinforced polyester, fibreglass, concrete, mortar, and ceramics. Time required for curing: 4-6 hours in the summer, 12 24 hours (in the winter). Incompatible with PP or PE. To achieve a membrane thickness of 1.5 to 1.9mm (2 kg per m2), apply at least 3–4 layers. In the majority of circumstances, humidity primer is advised.
