In trickle filters and trickle towers, pumice stone filter media is increasingly widely utilized as an alternative to conventional koi pond filter media.

Although pumice stone Filter Media is inert, it quickly becomes colonized by good bacteria that aid in the removal of contaminants. Its high porosity makes it the ideal medium for all kinds of biological filters. The media of choice must have an acceptable specific surface area (SSA), adequate voiding, and adequate water retention time in order for biological filtration to be effective. The huge surface area of pumice stone filter media makes it perfect for this application. It is a direct substitute for other ceramic-based filter media.

Is delivery free?

We offer free delivery on the majority of our products over £50. This excludes live fish and bespoke filters. Delivery to UK mainland addresses is £3.95 as standard, or £6.95 for express.

How do I return a product?
