Steel City Koi was founded by myself - Will - at the age of 16, supplying high quality Japanese koi carp to the UK koi trade. The idea initally was to purchase tosai and grow them through to nisai, but my love for the hobby grew, and so did the number of koi.

My passion for koi stemmed from growing koi, and then experiencing first hand what its like to look after and care for these wonderful creatures.

I am now 4 years into this journey, with over 10 years experience in keeping fish and koi specifically. The website continues to grow and develop, with dry goods now being available on request, and koi available to be shipped across the UK.
