A little about Marusei koi farm:

Marusei Koi Farm (often called Hirasawa Koi Farm) is one of the largest and most influential koi breeders in Japan. The farm is located in Kawaguchi, Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, and was founded in 1960 by Seitaro Hirasawa. Today it is operated by his son, Yoshiyuki Hirasawa.

Marusei is famous for producing large-growing ("jumbo") koi with powerful body conformation. Many hobbyists specifically seek Marusei fish because they often develop exceptional size while maintaining good skin quality and strong health.

Among serious koi keepers, Marusei's Karashigoi and Chagoi are especially prized because of their growth potential and imposing body structure. Many jumbo koi over 90 cm—and occasionally over 1 meter—have originated from Marusei bloodlines.

Is delivery free?

We offer free delivery on the majority of our products over £50. This excludes live fish and bespoke filters. Delivery to UK mainland addresses is £3.95 as standard, or £6.95 for express.
