Autumn 2024 Update

I'd like to start this off with a thankyou to all my customers who have supported me throughout 2024. Admittedly, it didn't get off to the best of starts and a full overhaul of how we supplied dry goods was undertaken. I wish to apologise to all customers who were previously effected by any trouble when ordering dry goods previously and would like to assure prospective customers that all issues have now been ironed out, meaning a much better and more reliable supply of goods.

Secondly, this year marked the end of my studies at university and it led to a crossroads point in my life. Do I continue to retail koi carp to the general public and put 100% into the business or do I get a job? How about both? Yes, I am now employed on a full time basis but I run the business now in a way which is manageable for both me and customers. Appointments to view our selection of Japanese Koi can be scheduled for in the evenings or on weekends, this was pretty much how things were in the past, but this is now a rigid rule which is being adhered to.

Next, I would like to give a quick look towards the near future. Koi are starting to come over from Japan and I've got my agent flying out in the next week or so to fulfill all requests and source fish I usually wouldn't be able to. True high quality Japanese koi carp take some finding and we love the challenge. For now, there are stocks being listed on the website from Tamaura and Oya, these are fish which were purchased earlier in the season and have been grown on site throughout the summer. This year I have seen a rising number of trade enquiries for Japanese koi and these sales have led to my best ever season, if this is something which you may be interested in for your own business, please feel free to get in touch. Boxes of koi can be sourced directly from Japan for you to quarantine, or they can be quarantined for you following an effective regime. This isn't something which many koi dealers are offering, but I am happy to provide both random selections and also hand picked selections if you require.
